Frustration, anger and the unknown filled this FSBO sellers emotions. He wanted to save money. He wanted to move quickly. He thought he knew it all. He also thought it would be easy as pie to sell his Manchester NH area home.
He priced the home higher than any home that had sold in his neighborhood. He did alot of upgrades himself making it worth more. He studied the Internet. He watched all the DIY you Tubes he could. He watched all the home selling shows. He was ready. But was he?
In the next 4 months he used up all his vacation time showing would be buyers the home. He said he hung up on and or threw out every buyer broker who pestered him. He thinks some buyers stole his wives jewelery and he lost his Ipad. He really needed to move but is stuck here.
Then his wife was speaking to some of her friends she had not seen. She spoke of their issues selling their home. One of the ladies told her to call me. I sold their home. I also sold the other friends parents home. A couple days later i got the call. I went over and faced mush hostility. I went over values, what the home should be listed at. How they should prepare the home and what to expect. Mr. Seller signed facing a rebellion from his wife. Two days later the home was under contract.
The MOST IMPORTANT message is to share is a home seller has to work with and not against the listing agent. That every consumer that my philosophy is simple, provide more personal and professional service to guide clients through each step of the buying or selling process. All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest.
