Don’t miss the exciting 12th Annual Running of the Bulls at San Fermin de Nueva Orleans, to be held on July 13-15, 2018 at the Sugar Mill, 1021 Convention Center Blvd in New Orleans. The kickoff party takes place at the Three Seven Distillery on Friday, July 13. For kickoff party tickets and further information, see the link that follows: http://nolabulls.com/events/. The New Orleans version of the Running of the Bulls is inspired by the celebration in Pamplona Spain. The New Orleans version, however, replaces the bulls with the Big Easy Rollergirls. Along with the Rollergirls, other roller derby leagues come in from other cities to take part in this fun event. If you’d like to be a runner, meet at 1021 Convention Center Blvd., and please be sure to wear a red cloth around your neck and waist. The procession begins on Saturday, July 14 at 7:15 AM; the Running of the Bulls begins at 8 AM. Visit the website for additional information and tickets at http://nolabulls.com/events/. NOLA Bulls, LLC sponsors the Running of the Bulls and proceeds from the event will go to Beth’s Friends Forever, a program that assists women with breast cancer who are not able to afford cancer insurance and to Animal Rescue of New Orleans (ARNO), a nonprofit volunteer organization that has rescued thousands of needy animals. For additional information on these charities, see the following link: http://nolabulls.com/charity/.
