Active Rain Logo 

In the last week I have received several public contacts through Active Rain.  A couple of them may turn into buyers and sellers.

The first few months on Active rain I wasn't sure if this would actually translate into business.  I have my answer.  It does.

Today at a politically meeting it was announced that it takes 18 to 24 months for a blog site to become effective.  I guess they haven't heard of Active rain.  It has been a fraction of that for me.  Besides all of the great information I have gained I am now also receiving business.

For those newbies to AR, keep on a blogging it takes time, but it will come fast one day.

Randy - you are my hero! I'm very new to this not even sure what a blog is at this point but anxious to learn.  Are you saying you are generating leads from your answering posts or are you posting great and informative articles - which I guess would be called your blog - that is landing you some business?  Is there any way to read what you have written to help us starving agents know what to write about?

Deborah - You can click on my name and go to my blogs link on the left side of the page.  I did not receive much the first few months, but have recently started getting responses from non-members who picked me up on Google searches.  I think there is a cumulative effect as you continue ti post things.  Also the comments I have been getting is that they looked me up on Active rain and saw that I was the top rated in my state.

I have been number one in my State for awhile, but did not get any action until recently when my points grew and I had a lot of blog columns that are popping up on google searches.  As your blog site grows so will the interest from the public.
