Memorial Day Recognition

By
Home Stager with Prudential Ambassador / Ross Designs, LLC

I haven't seen any blogs about Memorial Day tributes yet.  I thought perhaps it would be a good time to acknowledge those on AR who have either served in the military themselves, or have/had a close family member or friend who did.

To those who have served in our military, please accept my heartfelt gratitude! For those who have lost a loved one in service, please accept my deepest sympathies.  Our country, even though filled with internal debates about politics, taxes and hundreds of other things, would not be what it is today without our service men and women and I am truly, truly blessed to be an American.

Please post any recognition stories or acknowledgements you would like here so we can all celebrate!

Tori,

My father served in the Korean War and was called up twice for Vietnam.  My tow sons have been in the US Army and my youngest son is still in the Army stationed in MO.  I served in the US Air Force during Vietnam and feel a great pride about all that our men and women in uniform do on a daily basis.  Let me send out a very SPECIAL "thank you" to all of those that are currently serving or has served in military service.

Freedom is Not Free - Let's Show Our Appreciation this Memorial Day! was a post that I placed on AR a few days ago.  I am a 10 year Navy Veteran and will spend today contemplating the great price that has been paid for my freedom.  I hope others will do the same!
