Memorial Day events in Bucks County

Today is Memoria Day. President Bush has a few suggestions for how to honor the sacrifices of those who have fought for the Unites States - place a flag at a veterans grave, go to a battle field or say a prayer . He said that Monday at 3 pm, EST will be a moment of remembrance , " At that moment Major League baseball will pause, the National Memorial day Parade will halt , Amtrak trains will blow their whistles and buglers in military cemeteries will play taps "

Let us all observe a moment of remembrance at 3 pm today.

The following are some of the events in my area.:

1. Civil War Encampment at Mercer Museum Doylestown 10 am to 5 pm

2. Memorial Day open House Bucks County Civil War Library and Museum 8.30 am to noon. Call 2153488293

3. Memorial day parade Riegelsville Call m610252-7511 at noon today.

4. Memorial day Weekend Sesame Street- themed fireworks at sesame Place, Langhorne Call 866-GOFOELMO or visit www.sesameplace.com

5. Warminster Memorial day parade. 11 am Route travels East on Henry Avenue to York Rd to Street Road to Warminster VFW post on Louis drive.
