It is also a reason for the fear of Friday the 13th, called paraskevidekatriaphobia (from Greek Παρασκευή (Paraskevi), meaning 'Friday') or friggatriskaidekaphobia (after Frigg, the Norse goddess after whom Friday is named in English).
I had not noticed we had a Friday the 13th this month, and had a quick chuckle. Will anyone do anything different because of this day? Not being too superticious, but am glad I don't have a closing tomorrow!

Same day as any other day, although I think once I got married on Friday the 13th once, probably in June, maybe around mid 1980s. But wouldn't have made any difference if it was a Saturday.

My grandpa used to think 13 was lucky! I did not even realized it was the 13th til I looked at the calendar today and said oh it is Friday too and chuckled!

Sally, that is how I viewed this day too, and luckily nothing happened. BUT, it is only 5:30.
