I've been kicking around the idea of creating a new business image, which is an important aspect of being a Realtor. A good image makes people know that we think we're important, which is a good thing. It makes people want to work with us, or something goofy like that.

I'm not really going to start blanketing the area with post cards pushing my fancy new business image and ugly mug on them, that's just obnoxious to me. Even before I became a Realtor I was placing agents postcards in the circular file, and I expect people would do the same with mine.

Instead, I'm just going to post my new business promotional image on this blog, and I'll wait to see how many people notice it.

Love that picture!

Even if you didn't go with the Mafia theme, that is a tremendous picture for your marketing. . . .

Picture is good but I am not so sure about the message.  Give us some feedback in a year.

I don't know what it is about the picture, but we used it when we first joined as a team, and I had people commenting (in jest) about how they knew exactly who we were from our picture in the local papers, and I've had numerous people comment about how it remindind them of "the real estate mafia".  It's all been in good fun, but the concept has actually managed to generate some business for us, to the point that I've considered running an ad like this, just for the fun an identification...  I'll let you guys know if we actually decide to try it (if I get good feedback on it!)
