...And I Thought I Was Having A Good Hair Day!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Landmark

This happened a few weeks ago.  I just wakled in the door from showing some houses (showing, not selling as I am in a bit of a rut), when my wife informed me that we were out of milk. UGH!

After changing into my blue jeans, I headed out to the grocery store.

Picked up a gallon of milk and placed it on the conveyor belt. I watched it slowly head toward the cashier. When I looked up, I saw the cashier was also watching the milk slowly head her way. Then she started to smile as her eyes moved in the direction of mine. Her smile was real "BIG" and her eyes were twinkling as she looked at me. She's checking me out I thought to myself. This has not happened in about 6 years.

I must be having one of those "GOOD" hair days!

I looked back at her as if to say, "I'm flattered but I am a happily married man".

We exchanged pleasentries (and cash). As I went to grab my milk, I noticed that the bagger was checking me out too! Her smile was bigger than the cashiers and when she handed me the milk, she looked over to the cashier, then back at me. Her smile was glistening and her eyes were shinning like diamonds. Then, the bagger said, "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" It was this long drawn out hi. As if she were a sothern Bell!

Perplexed, embarrassed and feeling a bit confident, I walked toward the exit door. I kept on feeling that I had eyes watching me leave the building. I had to turn, sure enough both young ladies were staring right at me!

As I was getting the car keys out of my pocket, I found myself signing, "I'm too sexy for my shirt..too sexy".

I put the key into the door and in doing so.....it happened. It was at that moment when reality struck! Not only was my fly down but my shirt tale was sticking out! How stupid could I be???? What was an old guy like me thinking?

A "good" hair day? I have never had "good" hair. It's always been "thin and wispy".

Things are not always as they seem!

I tell you this story so that you can see that I am goofy, a little creative and not afraid to put myself under that proverbial bus!

I tell this story to you so that when you sign up for my FREE tele seminar, you know that it is not only going to be educational but I will also entertain you. We will have a little fun too!

Keith - Not too many things can deflate the ego as quickly as this.  Sorry to hear that you weren't really getting "checked out at the checkout".

"I listen for a living." It's all about you.

I just saw this today.  You need to blog more often this is a good story.  I am not suggesting you walk around in an embarrassing state of undress  (and no sexting like Brett), but sharing good stories here on the Rain is good for your business.  I believe I just saw you in a RE/MAX Landmark video.
