Well, here's the moment all of our M2T Teams have been waiting for - the results of our Week One Challenge.

(To find out all the details on the Week One Challenge, GO HERE)

I had originally planned to perform this announcement through a video blog, but simply ran out of time. I promise to do something fun and creative for next Week's Challenge.

Let me begin by saying, that overall, the responses from our competiting Teams was amazing. This is going to be an extremely difficult field to judge!

And unfortunately, as good as all the teams are, we inevitably will need to eliminate many of them along the way. However, as many of the Team members have shared throughout the week, "the opportunity to participate in this event is truly a valuable experience, regardless of the outcome."

And so, without further adieu.....

Let's start off with the Bad News first, shall we?

The Makeover2Takeover Team to be eliminated this week is the Team "SheSells" of Tina Merritt and Myra Spano. Ladies, thank you for your participation and effort. We will be awarding each of you points for your involvement, as well as a token of our appreciation to follow.

And now, for the winner of the Week One Challenge. There were several Teams that ranked high in the scoring, but the clear leader was the Team of Missy Caulk & Kim Wood!

Congratulations, Missy and Kim!

And to all the other Team Contestants, contratulations as well. you're onto the Week Two Challenge which will be announced later today!

For all the members of ActiveRain, make sure to voice your words of encouragement and appreciation to all the Makeover2Takeover Teams!

AWE BUMMER!  I can't believe that my team "SheSells" is the FIRST to go!

However, what an honor it has been to be chosen to participate.  I've learned so much from Week 1's challenge!  Congratulations for Caulk-Wood and all who are moving to Week 2!

We'll be CHEERING from the sidelines!

Congratulations to everyone who competed this week in creating a database and getting started on the road to success.  Special congratulations to Missy and Kim, and I certainly hope that Team SheSells goes home with some lovely parting gifts.

Congratulations Missy and Kim! This was quite the start to our mission! It's the best thing I've had happen in as long as I can remember. Getting personally involved with our existing systems and building a new and fresh approach is awesome! I am looking forward to reading your thesis! I know we all are! Take care and it's an honor to be competing with such a strong professional circle of friends.

Later in the rain~Deb

I'm not surprised.  On the other hand, how do you manage anyway? A big team, AR, and a challenge too? You are quite amazing I must say!
