Those lazy days of summer............right here on the West Coast of Florida! And what better way to enjoy the summer then sailing off of Honeymoon Island?
Florida's West Coast is known for it's family friendly waters. The gradual slope makes it the perfect place for kids to enjoy the Gulf of Mexico!!! And the beaches are the BEST in the country!!! Whether Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island, Fort Desoto Park or of the beaches in between, Pinellas County's beaches are fantastic!!!

Georgina - I think the beaches are totally different! What makes our West Coast beaches so nice is the powder white sand and the gradual slope of the coast itself - rather than a sharp drop off into deep water - it is perfect for kids!!! I cannot comment on Hawaii's beaches, since I have never been there. I go with what the 'experts' report when they list the best beaches.
