If you have a pre-teen or teen who is looking for summer work and wants to get involved in child care, check out this workshop offered by the Red Cross at the Apache Junction Public Library on June 6thfrom 9am until 4:30 pm. This workshop is for ages 11-16. A birth certificate is required to register to verify age. Fee is $47.00 for the workshop. The workshop teaches how to react to emergencies or sudden illness. It also teaches how to play safely with children of various ages. Everyday things such as dressing, diapering, feeding and preparing simple meals are also taught.
