Clarksville Facts
In reading yesterdays Leaf Chronicle ( Our Local Paper ) there was a article on biking. As a side note there was a section on the city code.
City Code of Clarksville
Title 9, Chapter Five, Section 9-508
Riding on sidewalks.
(1) No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within the business district.
(2) No person 15 or more years of age shall ride a bicycle upon any sidewalk in any district.
(3) Whenever any person is riding a bicycle upon a sidewalk, the person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrain and shall give audible signal before overtaking and passing the pedestrain.
