Morning Paul.

Asking why is essential to learning. With little ones it can become an exercise in patience for us older people.  However, all one needs to do is think back when they were young, trying to understand why things are the way they are.

Children with a curious mind will do very well in life in general.  They are the ones learning every day

What I want to know is how they can formulate all those questions in their little brains so quickly.  No sooner do you get one question answered and another pops out of their mouth. 

So true, Paul... the first question is "why," often followed by "why not?" And have you ever noticed how they ignore any response that begins with "no?"

You are so right..they are always asking this question! Between birth and 5 a child learns more than during the rest of their lifetime..I can see why!

Good morning Paul. When they quit asking "why", it is the beginning of the end. Then they rely on sound bites and perception instead of the truth! Others tell them what to think and vast majority follows! Enjoy your day!

Oh yes our 5 year old granddaughter is one of those precocious - 'why askers' and she does so in such a cute way. Very smart little girl - and quite the sense of humor to go along with all those smarts.

I had similar thoughts about children, just this morning!  May we all share that inquistive nature.
