We have a storage unit and it is a big one. Much of what we have in it are supplies for rental properties. I keep the house cleaned out pretty well.

Oh my gosh - timely post, Lisa! So, today, I had a 1:00 meeting and had taken the day off to get caught up on some organizing - my attic! I started early in the morning and took several breaks to check email, take calls and of course, check in on social media. At 12:54, I realized that I hadn't checked my phone and I still had to 'get ready' for my 1:00 meeting - thank goodness it was an online conference - not IN PERSON!

I was a hot mess and BARELY made my meeting but, I got through a TON of boxes and have a full load to take to Goodwill tomorrow. Organizing to me, is rejuvenating!

Lisa, I had a storage unit for about 20 years here in Los Angeles, so about a couple year ago I finally got rid of it... well now the garage is still full but at least I am not paying $ 100 a month:))Endre

I suspect most of us can use some help in getting rid of things, AND doing a better job of organizing what we have and need to store. Despite multiple moves I still have more stuff than we need and use, including storing our kids' stuff! We are gearing up for a major overall!
