August 2018 Austin Texas Events ~ Here’s what’s going on!
The first month in the Third Quarter for 2018 is coming to a close and August 2018 is looming upon us! Our hot weather has been ramping up early so make sure you think cool and check out the August activities. If you love the Music Man, than make reservations from now through August 11th at the Long Center. Another fun group performing live now through the 18th is ALL SHOOK UP at the Zilker Hillside Theater. The Princess & the Pea (my daughter-in-laws favorite) is live at One World Theater on August 4th and don’t miss Blues on the Green on August 8th at Zilker Park.
For all you cowboys and cowgirls who love the rodeo make sure you attend the annual Cedar Park Rodeo at the HEB Center on August 17-18th! Calling all garage sale lovers the City Wide Garage Sale at the Palmer Events Center will be going strong on the 18 & 19th. August is loaded with events for the whole family!
For an iconic treat don’t miss out on the annual “BATFEST” August 18th at the Congress Avenue Bridge. To top off August the Hot Sauce Festival at Fiesta Gardens is an experience you won’t want to miss!
You won’t be disappointed with the venues offered in Austin for August 2018. It’s sure to be a sensational month of celebrating music, plays, rodeos you name it! Get your calendars out and make time for all that Austin has to offer and embrace August with thankful hearts!
