Hi Everyone! Although my field is one of a Realtor; got my Illinois license in 1979, my Florida license in 2007, my background is psychology and I have been a counselor for years. Perhaps it was the Mercury retrograde of July 27th, in combination with the Lunar Eclipse, same day, and preparing for the oncoming Solar Eclipse...and I was deep in thought... reviewing my life on Planet Earth.
Yes, my thoughts took me for a ride and off on a side road of which I named, 'regrets and disappointments.' How did I manage to get on that side road? Well, I love the languages and especially the classicals, Latin and Greek. One of my priest friends recently told me about a well-known priest, who after years of study and ordination, went to Rome, Italy and studied 6 more years at the Gregorian University (founded in the 1500's) ---but wait! He spend 6 years there -- studied, taught and examined in Latin... Went back to Medieval times.
Well, one thought led to another and soon I found myself on a side road...guess you could call it 'Side road Regrets and Disappointments.' There are sayings that we are responsible for our choices in life. Where had I gone wrong? Why hadn't I gone to the Rome I love? Why hadn't I studied 6 years in classical studies, theology, philosophy? Perhaps life is too short to get everything in we would like to, but it did make me realize that we do have choices and these are very important. You cannot blame another person for the choices we ourselves make. I decided to go to my bag of QUOTES. Perhaps I would find some answers.
