But if you really want to see who is good at their job of mortgage lending, hand them a 632 credit score with a 54 debt ratio, with gift money, living rent free,2 job changes, a bankruptcy, 4 collections after the bankruptcy who is buying a manufactured home AND you can close that in 30 days. You will separate out really fast the pretenders from the people whom you should do business with.
By the way, if you are a loan officer reading this, and your company cannot do those types of loans, then you are working at the wrong place -- call me for a job (btw, we pay 300bps...yes 300).
