Guess who/what was looking in my daughter's house today?

Today my daughter looked outside the sliding glass doturtleor and saw this  turtle peering into her house.  She took the kids outside to see it and they were fascinated.

She finally had to take the kids back inside because my three year old grandson kept trying to trap the poor turtle who was probably terrorized.

What fun we can have watching our grandchildren play and discover things.

Sybil.

What a darling picture, and it is always fascinating to listen to kid's reactions to creatures.  Have a great week.  A

Turtles are interesting to watch even if you're not a kid, Sybil.  But kids' reactions are always priceless.

There is something about little boys and turtles. I remember my brothers loking to capture turtles and my son did the same thing.

one morning my dogs were "playing" with something in the back yard and I had to rescue that turtle.  They were pawing it around.

Well at least they they didn't "fetch" him to the porch. He seemed fine when I put him under the gate, he popped right out of his shell and crawled back into the wooded part of our yard.

I asked my daughter if she was going to put him outside the fence and she said, "He found his way into the yard, he can find his way out as well."
