As of March 4, 2007, 25% of all residential listings currently available in the town of Petaluma are in escrow, indicating a Buyer's Market. For the month of February 2007, 44 residential listings sold for an average sales price of $586,227 (with an average original list price of $617,458). These homes took an average of 103 days to sell.

NOTE: Of the 44 homes that sold, 7 sold OVER the original asking price and 5 sold for AT original asking price--with NO price reductions.  In addition to the 44 homes that sold in February, there are 14 pending. 

With mulitple offers happening on a daily basis in San Francisco and Marin County, more and more people are going to start moving their home search northward to Petaluma and the town of Sonoma.
