But I won’t, and here is why.
Since 1997 I have had six epileptic seizures, and in 2000 a triple bypass.
During the past six years: a total of 14 stints, one heart attack, eight kidney stones, two pulmonary embolisms, shoulder replacement, back surgery after six months of pain.
Peripheral neuropathy for six years, then this year after eight doctors, a solution. Prostrate cancer for the past four years.
And I still play racquetball with guys 42 years younger than myself.
The cardiologist says I have a STRONG HEART.
Why I won’t die sooner than later: My enthusiasm, energy, tenacity, drive, excitement, and passion are far greater than anyone I personally know, except my mentor, Roy Schott (maybe) Then too, he is six years younger than I am.
If you know someone, like this, I would love to talk with them, sounds like we may have a few things in common, and could benefit each other.
Fortunately, I am blessed with these blessings and a positive outlook and that is the greatest asset anyone could own.
There is VALUE in all of this.
And in my next year I will accomplish far more than I have in the past three years. How do I know? Because I BELIEVE I WILL.
The use of imagination and belief have tremendous value to anyone who is fortunate enough to experience them.
Some words I learned in 1978 from Tom Hopkins:
I never see failure as failure but only as a learning experience.
I never see failure as failure but only as negative feedback, I must change my course of direction.
I never see failure as failure but only as a game I must play in order to win.
