Serving up anger like a favorite dish.
Gone are the days of using restraint when expressing dislike, distaste or a difference of opinion. The lesson of "If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all." should still stand.
On social media platforms, people openly and hostilely verbally purge online despite the Who, What, Where, When or Why of a situation. They wish to be heard at any cost, foregoing any form of civility!
You’d think these people would honor their parents and remember the childhood lessons and manners enforced diligently by respected adults.
Of course, those who dish it out daily are often unable to take the expected backlash, hiding behind the Internet and their keyboards. They often cry foul and play the victim when it suits.
My grandfather always said that there is one thing to be enjoyed in life and that is eating good food. He is so right about that but I want nothing to do with what these people are dishing out.
Besides, all that name calling, virtual hair pulling, scratching and punching can make a person lose their appetite. Ucky kuck!
