Testimonial Tuesday: Apple Annie's Antique Gallery

The weather here has been really hot the last couple of weeks.  One of the fun things to do indoors where it is cool is to head up to Cashmere, Washington to Apple Annie Antique Gallery.  This is only about 6 miles from Wenatchee where I live. 

The Apple Annie Antique Mall is 70,000 square feet of antiques, collectibles, unique gifts and consignment furniture provided by some 200 individual vendors.  On one of my recent visits to the gallery, I purchased this distressed looking old fashioned lantern / candle cage. 

For me, it's serving as an excellent holder for my growing cork collection.  No cork goes into this cage unless I have helped drink the wine from that bottle.  

When you go to Apple Annie's, be sure to allow time (before or after) to stop in the 59er Diner, on location, and have a meal or just enjoy an old-fashioned malt or milkshake.  

Across the Highway from Apple Annie's is another fun store to peruse called the Antique Store At Cashmere.   I found some metal art there that I was interested in but didn't buy it... at least not yet. 

I dare you to go to either store and not come away with something.

Love antiques Carol Williams  what a great place to go when is search of unique pieces .A milk shake is out of the question too many calories . A cool glass of water with lemon and lime sounds much better to beat the heat .

I rarely have ice cream in any form.  My husband loved it and at it every day. I would be a good sport and eat some with him.  Now that he is gone, it's a little easier (still not easy) to maintain my weight.

Carol Williams Ice cream is a weakness of mine . I love it . If I am going to have it I will eat it by the spoonful and savor every mouthful not waste it by drinking it but I really try not to do either

I agree with savoring every spoonful sista Hannah Williams .  My husband used to love milkshakes.  He would let me take a few sips and that would satisfy me.

Oh, I'm a huge antique fan too, Carol and love your find at Apple Annie's! I need something clever to hold my corks but, haven't yet found anything that floats my boat.
