Summer Is Coming To An End

George Souto - You live in a place that has beautiful foilage in the fall and short summers. I'm sure you take nothing for granted. I hope you get an abundance of fresh produce while you can and that every moment counts for something good. 

George my friend my favorite season is Spring and Fall and can live without Summer it is way to hot for me:) now to solve your dilemma about the Farmers Stands consider Relocating to my part of the world we have more Farmers Markets than we can attend... generally Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday that I know for sure...Endre

I love summer because I can run out the door with sandals and no coat/hat/etc. Knowing it's coming to an end again made me frown (temporarily)! Enjoy the farm fresh food!

Good morning George - I know that is something I will miss too.  You can not beat produce from the farm stands.

I have been astonished at how quickly this summer, and this year have moved!  Faster than smoke through a keyhole!

Good afternoon George. I'm not sorry to see summer wane but fresh vegetables are a treat.

We will have fresh fruit and produce well into the Fall, which I am very much looking forward to.  Love Fall best.

Hello George Souto  it has been too hot here to walk around but it seems the weather will be cooling down soon .  Walking about in the fall is much more comfortable

We are lucky to have one of these type stands about a mile down the road. It is pay on the honor system too.

George, I like that self serve and the weather has caused havoc with this growing season...my tomatoes are almost done...

Love these farm fresh vendors! We are not even close to having summer end and will have farmers markets all fall. You have gorgeous fall colors and always enjoy your posts on them every week as the leaves turn!

Hi George - now that I am back from Florida I am going to buy several crates of plum tomatoes to make tomato sauce.

Your photos are fabulous and how nice to buy produce on your walks, George. We will have a very nice bounty until October, then we will greatly miss our fresh produce. D
