One wonderful thing I enjoy during summer in the Greater Sacramento region, are the amazing concerts that pop up in our parks, wineries, breweries and shopping areas. Most are free. This past Thursday evening, my daughter (Jill), grandkid (Macie), and I attended one at El Dorado Hills Town Center. The featured band was Forejour, a tribute band for Foreigner and Journey. Once the sun had vacated the horizon, the temps dropped and were delightfully comfortable. We grabbed sandwiches from Selland's, a neat little deli at Town Center, and procured a bottle of Sangria. It was a delicious evening with great music and pleasant grass (the kind you lay on). I can't think of a better way to unwind from earthly toils than that!

Selland's Market Cafe at Town Center also has a website, which allows on-line ordering, so you can order sandwiches and other amazing food, and have it ready when you arrive for concerts: Selland's Market Cafe.
