Prime Seller Leads/iVortex Review: BUYER BEWARE! SCAM ALERT!
Back in May I was looking to invest my marketing dollars in a platform that generated seller leads by means of facebook and/or google advertisement, with a landing page with a strong call to action. I was considering BoldLeads at the time, at that time, my then, team leader's coach (I have since left that team) said no to BoldLeads, bad investment, and go with Prime Seller Leads/iVortex instead.. (In hindsight, influential people in the industry such as coaches probably get these products for free, in hopes they will push them on their influencers.. This is the second crappy product this coach pushed on me.. I won't mention the first, because they haven't developed the reputation of being scam artist).
So I joined Prime Seller Leads/iVortex back in May. Things were going great, they were getting the system set up, the alogrithms were starting to jive with Facebook, and leads were starting to "trickle" in.. I say trickle because, though leads were coming in, it wasn't consistent and it wasn't a lot of leads, but it was enough to have that confidenc that the system was working.
Fast forward to a month later, I see a post on the Prime Seller Leads facebook page of someone who was double billed by Prime Seller Leads for several months, had tried to get in contact with the billing department to no avail, and the company had become non-responsive to rectifying the duplicate billing issue. So after reading that post, I decided to check my credit card statement, low and behold, first month being part of Prime Seller Leads/iVortex, they billed my card twice, and it wasn't by any means accidental. It was intentional! They billed me at the beginning of May once I signed up and again at the end of the month.
I called the billing department, which ALWAYS sends you straight to a voicemail, left a message, in which no one ever calls you back. So I contacted my technical support contact, Gavin, I made him aware of the issue, and he assured me that it would be taken care of. That assurance was enough to make happy and confident that everything was good, I had communication and assurance that the problem would be fixed.
Fast forward another month, I check credit card statement again, I was never refunded for the duplicate charge in May and they double billed me AGAIN in June. I contacted Gavin again, in which he apologized and met me again with assurance that the issue would be resolved. I was satisfied with his response, but I let him know that if it happens again, and it doesn't get fixed, I'm done with Prime Seller Leads/iVortex. In which he understood clearly.
Fast forward with me a bit further to end of July, beginning of August. I check my credit statement yet again, no refund was issued and I was double billed a third time. This time I sent an email to Gavin, no more friendly phone conversations with empty promises, letting him know how disappointed I am that it kept getting double billed, and no refund has been issued, and they have been aware of this every since I joined. I told him this needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY.. And I would be emailing him everyday until the issue was addressed. Apparently that was enough to get somewhere, because he forwarded me to someone to iVortex, who said that the messages have been forwards to the billing department and the refunds have been issued and will reflect on my account in 3-5 business days.
Fast forward 3-5 business days later, 2 of the 3 duplicate charges were refunded. I emailed Gavin and iVortex guy to let them know that the 3rd duplicate charge was not refunded, and I revoked all authorization for them to bill my account any further until ALL DUPLICATE CHARGES were refunded, and until I spoke with someone who could tell me why it kept happening and what they are going to do in order to make sure it doesn't happen again. From there they said they forwarded the message, yet again, to the billing department, in which they said the refund had been issued and would reflect on my account 3-5 business days.
Fast forward to 3 weeks later, which brings us to today. That last refund still has not been issued, is not reflected on my credit card statement, and they have become completely non-responsive to emails and phone calls.
Last night in their facebook group, I ran a search for that original post I saw that inspired me to check my statements to begin with, and surprise surprise, that post had been removed. So I wrote a post in the group sharing my experience. What I recieved back was discovering I was very much not alone in my experience. Several peope commented sharing that they had a similar experience or were inspired to check their statements as well, only to discover that they to have been double billed, or even worse, billed weekly.
Before going to bed last night, knowing at this point they clearly like to silence their whistle blowers, I screen shot the entire post and conversation thread, up to the point I put phone away to go sleep. Which I am glad I did, sure enough, I woke up this morning to be messaged from someone that commented of her vastly worse experience on the post, letting me know the post had been removed, once I got on facebook, I discovered I had been banished from the group as well.
But don't fret though, below is the whole conversation thread for your visual enjoyment. Behold the consistant corruption and greed of this company with your own eyes. Please feel free to share your experience in the comments below, or share this post so no other agent gets scammed! Our marketing dollars are precious, and running an operation that scams and steals from it's consumer base is not acceptable in any industry. Prime Seller Leads/iVortex has done a pretty good job of covering their dirty deeds up and silencing the whistle blowers. I just hope this post inspires others the speak up, share their experience, and let other agents know that their marketing dollars are not safe with company!
