Hartford, CtHartford Skyline from Constitution Plaza

Greetings & A good Sunday Afternoon to All from Hartford, Ct.

I'm sitting here in my home office listening to the womens UCONN vs USF Big East tourney game and trying to formulate what I want to "talk" about today. I guess you could say I'm multi-tasking!

Having only been in the commercial mortgage business for just six months, I entertained nearly every inquire for funding that was presented to me. Gas station, start up capital for a "new" product, Hotel acquisition, Condo development, International Condo development, Casino Development, Casino acquisition and International Resort Hotel development, Dozens of requests for Hard Money loans  just to name a few! From $100k to $9bil in funding requests!

I NEED TO FIND A NICHE, and I am leaning towards the "High End" Funding! Not so much for the greater compensation (well that too) but because those that are involved in the multi-million & billion dollar projects I believe are more qualified from the start to obtain the funding they are looking for.

Having said this, I need to establish a working relationship with additional lenders capable of funding these multi million & billion dollar projects. Anyone out there in the AR community who can help/refer me to qualified billion dollar lenders/Investors Please give me Holler!

Have a Great Day!

Jim Armstrong, Key Commercial Lending

ps: UCONNs up 56 - 32 mid-way thru 2nd half   GO UCONN!

Hi James!  Had to drop you a note as I just blogged about finding a Niche!  Love UCONN and was in Hartford a short while ago to train an ASP Class.  I don't do commercial loans either - but I do stage commercial properties!  Good Luck!
