“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” – Friedrich Nietzsche
I absolutely love that saying.
I can re-post it every single day.
Besides being a music junkie (especially with my 80’s and country music (someday I’ll post my Tim McGraw story)).
Anyways, I love this saying so much because it basically says that it’s ok to be a little bit nuts because not everyone gets it.
I have a very close circle of friends who understand my craziness.
Why is that so important?
Use this saying to remind yourself that it’s ok to be different. It’s ok to try different things and see things differently. It’s ok to break away from the pack.
Even more important than that is that it’s ok to fail. It’s ok to fail and it’s ok to fall.
It’s not ok to fail and quit. It’s not ok to fall and not get back up.
All of us have flaws and all of us have things that make us different and all of us hear music which no one else can hear (or at most, only a few others can hear).
Turn to those people during those times to remind you that they can hear the music too and it’s ok to be struggling.
No matter where you are and what music you hear, be thankful for this day and the opportunity to do something about it.
At least for today, let’s all get up, get going, get after it and have a great day!!
