Another add declared Real Estate was perfect for single Moms offering huge pay checks 3 months off for summer and still being in time for the daily school bus. Homeowners are lulled into a false sense of security by discount brokers then disappointed by the results. One homeowner thought my commission was too high and then realized she had been on the market 5 months with a discounted broker and paid over the odds in just her mortgage payments.
These gimmicks are great if you have champagne taste and cool aid budget or put in part time effort and expect full time results. Homeowners or agents, let's get real, you work to get results. Be Honest, price right and have enough B*#%s to explain to your client the true market value of their home. If you can't then you don't have enough business because you are not prospecting enough!! Which means another overpriced listing and another potential buyer off the market because you were too lazy to get the job done right. Slow market, I wonder why??
