Finally, Mainland Visitors to Our House in Kona

By mainland visitor, I mean a person. Well, two people. Not the ishy creepy thing I stepped on barefoot this morning. After a hard rain, the slugs come out. My fault. Wasn't watching where I was walking along our sidewalk when I stepped on something squishy. In fact, I squished it. Then part of it stuck to my foot and I tried to scape it off on the sliding door frame to our kitchen. Which was really stupid because now it will dry, stick to the frame and my door won't close.

That pair should keep you from being lonely and blue, Elizabeth.  Not that I can ever imagine being lonely and blue in Hawaii.  Come to think of it, of the 4 trips I've made to the islands, 3 of them have been by myself.  And, I always had a wonderful time!

What a  cute couple! As for those slugs - yuck! We had some up in Toronto while sitting out on my sisters deck. I looked down on the deck where I had set my glass and there it was - a slug in my glass of wine.  Ugh!  Never did that again.

Kathy Streib It's easy to forget about the slugs when you're not looking down and carting a cup of coffee with your computer under one hand and your cellphone in the other. I also run around barefoot a lot.
