Hi  Everyone!  Anyone following my little story here in Chicagoland,  - well the house appraised and now we're finishing up at 'step - lenders'...we could close early.  Thank all of you for your good wishes, positive thoughts, and prayers.  I am very grateful for your love, friendship, and support. The buyers are a young couple with two small children..  She is a Realtor and she stopped by with her Mom and Dad, and two adult brothers, and her children - her husband was at work.  She brought me a gift, an orchid plant and said she never saw a real estate deal go so nicely.  Goes to show that Realtors can work very nicely together.  It ended with pictures in the back yard, her brothers bouncing the basketball on the back court.  She said we would always be welcome 'back home' to the house. It was the beginning of a really nice bond - we would have a home in Chicagoland and they, in Orlando.  One of my sons and one of my daughters are co-owners - brokers of our firm,  TeamConnect Realty in  Central Florida - Orlando.  WOW,  they did so well in keeping the negotiations positive.  In fact, this was definitely a family affair - all 9 children worked together on our mission to sell our house which we loved.   Changes - sometimes hard to do and yet some nice surprises when you begin the 'closing and the new opening' of doors.   Lots of work, too.   Hahaha ~  I won't miss that....                                                                                                                                                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                          Jane
