...So, I was on my way to the beach this morning for a nice 6 mile run.

Coming out of my neighborhood I look up at the roof of one of my neighbor's homes and see this... It is an Eagle!

Now not many people may know this, but at the Kennedy Space Center they have an eagle sanctuary (it is about 20 miles north of my neighborhood). We also have a neighborhood about 15 miles south of me called Eagle Lake, and it also has land set aside as an eagle sanctuary.

I wonder if this big fellow (he had about a six food wing span) was on his way from one to the other?

I think all the sanctuaries around the country helped to bring them back. On one of the Channel Islands (uninhabited) there are nests and a webcam...and the bald eagles are doing well.
