“The Douglas County Planning Commission and Douglas County staff are updating the 2035 Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP) and have launched the 2040 CMP Update. This means that the 2035 CMP will be reviewed and updated to reflect the changing needs and desires of the community. This effort includes an extensive public outreach component in which the public is invited and encouraged to attend meetings regarding different topics. Input provided from the public will be incorporated into the 2040 CMP. Following the public meetings, a draft document will be made available to ensure County staff captured community values. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the draft document. Additional revisions will be made prior to the final document being presented to the Planning Commission for approval.
The Highlands Ranch Meeting will be on September 22, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Southridge Recreation center, 4800 McArthur Ranch Road. Topics will be Urban Land Uses, High Plateau Subarea, Transportation.”
