The Piikea FOOD TRUCK COURT offers a great selection of meals for every taste.
I was searching for a good satisfying lunch to take home one day while on the south side of Maui, and thought I should try the food truck court on Piikea Street. What a nice surprise to find these four trucks:
Veg Out food truck, Kihei Maui Hawaii
Veg Out - vegetarian and vegan meals
Mendo food truck, Kihei Maui Hawaii
Mendo - oriental ramen noodle bowls, mandoo, and steamed buns
Da Nani Pirates food truck, Kihei Maui Hawaii
Da Nani Pirates - fish and chips, tacos, wraps, salads, sandwiches, chicken wings
Gyro King food truck, Kihei Maui Hawaii
Gyro King - Mediterranean food, gyros, falafel, french fries
There's a nice central area with covered picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy your food, or take it with you to eat at the beach or home.
It was a hard decision about what to get this day, since I had to drive it home and eat later. I chose the pulled pork wrap from Da Nani Pirates and it was really hard to keep my hands off it while driving! Very delicious and I'll be back to try some more delectable dishes from all these trucks.
