There are so many holidays and reasons to reach out to your Clients (current & past), don't let this chance to connect pass you by. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas finish out the 4th quarter of 2018 with fun and follow up!
For Halloween, my office serves Chili and has a bonfire at our home. By providing this to the community, it provides a chance for fellowship and friendship. Sharing a cool fall evening and good food always makes for a good time had by all.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful opportunity for us to reach out to our current home listings. I personally deliver Mums or Poinsettias to them. Bringing a gift of flowers is personal and heartfelt during this season of giving. It also adds some holiday cheer that is appreciated by prospective buyers when they visit during a showing or open house.
The last holiday during the 4th quarter is Christmas. For Christmas, I send personal cards to all of my closings for the year. Because many of my listings are Lakefront or waterfront lots/homes I send them special cards with a beautiful lakefront winter image.
In February I continue the trend of recognizing my clients as being the "Heart" of my business with personal Valentine cards.
When you are planning marketing for your business, think simple, and heartfelt. Flowers, cards, and personal messages to clients will always mean more in the giving as well as the receiving of the gift. Take the time to write a personalized message, to pick out the ribbon on the flower pot, share a meal. Take time to give back to the community that supports you and your business. Show consistency with your clients with these annual marketing plans. They are easily implemented. Marketing does not need to break the bank. Taking the time to send personalized notes, has made the largest impact on my business, any time of year.
