An outsider looking in will see real estate as a simple transaction...but there are negotiations everywhere and they are complex; the appraisal can change the sales price and need negotiation, the property inspection and termite report many times have to be negotiated. Other items to negotiate; who pays what with fees, lenght of contract, rent backs, So many times there is give and take even from the Realtors who will reduce commissions to make a deal fund. If you are a Realtor you know that I could write about this for pages and pages and pages. We have to be adept, creative, and have the best attitude to "make the deal happen". Same thing for loans - tax problems, title problems, property issues and then the RULES, RULES and more RULES.
