2018 Carlsbad Oktoberfest is Saturday October 6th
It’s hard to believe Fall officially arrives September 23rd. And that means, among other things, it’s time for the annual Carlsbad Oktoberfest and Family Fall Festival, North San Diego County’s longest running Oktoberfest!
The 36th Annual Rotary Carlsbad Oktoberfest will be held, as always, in our beautiful Holiday Park, from 12 noon until 10 pm. Holiday Park is located on
Pio Pico, heading south from Carlsbad Village Drive (just east of the 5 freeway), between Pine and Chestnut.

Parking in the residential community surrounding Holiday Park is limited, so consider parking at the SW corner of The Shoppes at Carlsbad (at El Camino Real and the 78) and taking the shuttle buses. Shuttles run every 20 minutes, from 11:30 am until 10:30 pm.
The Carlsbad Oktoberfest 2018 is sponsored, as it always is, by the Rotary Club of Carlsbad. There are other sponsors as well including TBD That Boy Good, and Markstein Beverage Company, and more.
Oktoberfest funds for 2018 will go to 2 major beneficiaries, the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation, and Solutions for Change, a local charity that is dedicated to working toward solving family homelessness.
Naturally you can expect the usual Oktoberfest fun and entertainment to keep you, friends and family busy from start to finish - German music and other bands, polka dancing, puppet shows, arts and crafts, games, rides, several costume and yodeling contests, and of course the classic German Oktoberfest dinner.
There’s also a Children’s ID event where you can receive fingerprinting and ID cards for your kids.
Advance tickets at $15 (for 1 full meal and admission), plus other ticket levels, can be purchased online at Eventbrite.
