I took a quick and unexpected road trip with a friend of mine this weekend up the coast. She asked me to tag along to meet some of her friends who were down from Michigan for the weekend so we packed up, drove to the Tampa area, met the friends, packed up and drove home.
Had I made a better plan I would've made arrangements to meet some of my blogging buddies in the area but unfortunately, time didn't permit.
As we were on our way home, we took the long way because there were areas that I hadn't seen before and it's always interesting to me when buyers call and say, "We're thinking about buying property in Naples or other areas along the Gulf".
It's good to at least have an idea of what they're comparing Naples to...right?
Anyway, we're I don't know how long into the trip when we arrive at an intersection...I don't know where we are we're just heading towards Naples...so we're between Naples and Tampa at this point.
So here I am checking out everything at the intersection when I spot the logo below on a building:
I said to my friend, see that real estate company over there? She replied, yeah. I said, someone from that company blogs on Active Rain.
FOR THE LIFE OF ME I COULDN'T REMEMBER WHO IT WAS!
Regardless, my friend was overwhelmed. It was just another firm reminder that Active Rain is a SUPERIOR place to get to know other agents across the country. How cool was it that even though I didn't know where I was, I knew I had something in common with someone who lived there. :)
Had it not been so early in the morning and had Beach & Luxury Realty, Inc. been open, I would've stopped in and said hello to the BLR Guy.
Granted, I would've had to go in and say, I need to speak with the blogger please. :)
Good Job To You BLR Guyand your branding! Had you not been using your picture instead of your business logo, I would've never known I was in your neighborhood and that drive would've been just another ordinary drive!
