All of the critters by my home are comfortable in and around the house. The other day just before going out I saw this fellow lounging on a deck light. He was content to just sit in the sun and relax. It made me laugh to think that he was happy and not eager to move. We all have our special places and I guess I found this squirrels area.

I suspect the copper top to that light or whatever kind of metal is warming to his underside. Plus, his tail is positioned ever so perfectly in a straight line down the railing. His paws are draped over the front, ready for action, if something of action should present itself. Wide range of viewing available.

Sheila, every time I see a Squirrel it reminds me of my parents and it puts a smile on my face... on the other hand when I see one as road kill it makes me so sad...Endre

Maybe he found some warmth on the metal and hopefully an observation post for acorns.
I bet it was warm on his tummy and the sun felt good on his back. He will remember his special place and come again.
