This is a photo of Ron holding the lizard that Quincy caught and released several times while we were having lunch outside. The last time he managed to sneak it into the house and release it there. Ron joined the game and caught it. He released it in the bushes and the lizard made his rapid exit. There is never a dull moment in our home!
I like that Quincy is a catch and release hunter. Glad too that Ron was able to catch the unwelcome guest and release it back to its natural habitat. I'm sure that was an exciting lunch. :)

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD Quincy was so worn out, he did not want to go on a walk after lunch or before dinner yesterday. Now, if we could find a mechanical lizard for his to chase...LOL A

I'm guessing this lizard was not a particularly happy camper at the end of the day.

Gabe Sanders I have no idea what his state of mind is. They play dead as Quincy watches it from a distance. Q will try to get it to run, and the lizard just stays there. The minute Q looks the other way, the lizard zips off and the chase begins all over again...Ron let it out in the bushes where there is room for his to zip off under the fence...A

Sounds like that lizard had quite the busy day. They seem to be fair game for my little people around here as well.

Good morning, Alexandra and Ron --- I imagine "rapid" is an apt description of this lucky lizard's "escape".

Lizards aren't too tasty to cats, and Quincy figured that out...over and over.

OMG.... eat inside!!!!
My previous kitty Lindsey was an avid hunter but her trophies she brought were all dead ones she deposited on my front step. I am glad she never brought life critters in the house. Shadow on the other hand meows to let me know if there is a bug in the house but won't touch it.

Good job Quincy. I see it is more for the sport of the activity and keeping sharp and on his toes.
Morning Alexandra.
We've only had two cats. Neither one of them, was a catch and release. They caught and ate

Hi Alexandra... I would have loved to have seen a picture of Quincy's face when Ron released the lizard. Glad he's a catch and release hunter... very unusual for cats.
Thanks for sharing Quincy's hunting adventures.
I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
Thankfully the lizards stay out of our house, but they drive our 2 cats nuts when they get close to the patio doors or worse when they climb the screens. Good think Ron rescued this one!!
