So I'm experimenting with a new site called IMfaceplate. I'm not sure if this is going to work or not.
So far, I've written 3 quick articles on the site:
- How long to wait before putting an area rug on your newly refinished hardwood floors (because it is longer than most people realize)
- Buying area rugs online vs in person (there are pros and cons for each option)
- Can you leave paneled walls if you're selling the house (I think we all know the answer to this and the consequence of leaving them in place).
The site was pretty easy to use and it was simple to write these articles. But so far, they haven't indexed on google, and I'm not sure how long it will take.
It's only been 1 week or so since I wrote them, so these things can definitely can take time. I'm just not sure if it will take a month, or 3 months or 6 months...or what.
We'll see if this article helps speed up the process. I also shared them on google plus last week, so we'll see.
I'm hoping to write an ebook some time in the next few months and want to experiment with some of these places before I publish.
One of the great things about activerain is that there is so much participation so articles get indexed very quickly. I miss that on other sites.
Oh, and if by any chance if you know about other sites (realtor or non realtor) where you can guest post, please let me know. I'm trying to increase my participation.
Realty Times is another place that seems to take a while to index. In fact most other places do.
I will try to keep you posted on this, but I have a feeling it may take a while and as a result, I will probably forget to check.
