Over the last week I have attended 4 BNI meetings in the Boise area. At each meeting, I've been exposed to businesses and business owners who were previously unknown to me. I've heard from Realtor clients and friends that BNI's "procedures" were a bit harsh...even draconian. Yet, having attended these 4 different groups, it appears to me that the systems are set up to ensure successful use of the "givers gain" philosophy. I absolutely enjoyed the meetings...and even as a guest walked away with new "hot" prospects. I can't wait to hit a few more meetings as I search for the right BNI group I'll join.
Anyone have advice on how best to utilize a BNI membership? Any words of wisdom or warnings?
