Recipe For A Great Fall Cookie!

Time for SNICKERDOODLES!

HERE'S A GREAT RECIPE YOU'LL WANT TO TRY ...

DOUGH:

1/2 Cup Butter (softened)

1/2 Cup Shortening

1 1/2 Cups Sugar

2 Eggs

2 3/4 Cups Flour

2 Teaspoon Cream of Tartar

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

TOPPING:

2 Tablespoons Sugar

2 Teaspoons Cinnamon

Combine all dry ingredients.  Mix together butter, shortening and eggs.  Stir the 2 mixtures together.  Roll about 1 Teaspoon of dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon/sugar topping mixture.  Place each ball onto ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart.  Bake at 400 degrees for about 8-10 minutes .... ENJOY!
