I stopped at the produce store to pick up some banana's to make some chocolate chip banana bread . They has five pounds of bananas for two dollar .While I was there I also picked up these beautiful sunflowers .I did cut the stems they were much longer then this They were only three dollars and fifty cents .. What a deal of sun-shining flowers and bananas -

Yes Cleo was interested in everything . she of course was watching cat TV on YouTube while I made my banana bread -.Always know when it is done because it smells so good

Brian England They had a netting over the flowers now that ir is off they have opened up even more They are beautiful . wish you you were here to taste the chocolate banana bread it is delicious. I added some walnuts too . My niece was Aprl was right .. I will add them all the time

Hannah, no Sunflowers are not poisonous, just that we are overly cautious with our animals....every plant, flower could give a cat a mild case of indigestion etc. so we choose not to risk it, Endre
