This is the LAST weekend in September! Somehow my mind is still stuck at the beginning of the month. How'd that happen? Well, anywho, It's proving to be a busy weekend.
Last evening Pam & I attended the North Shore Music Theater's presentation of Robert Lewis Stevenson's classic "Jekyll & Hyde" starring Tony-nominated Constantine Maroulis (Jekyll/Hyde), of American Idol fame and Diana DeGarmo, as Lucy, who I think is also an American Idol alumn. It was the best show of the season, thus far!
Today is, Not Only National Coffee Day but is also National VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Day. Dunkin Donuts is a buy one get one free (hot coffee) and remember our veterans.
On top of that, TODAY is also the official opening of the 200th Anniversary Topsfield Fair. Put the scales away for the next 10 days! The pumpkin weigh-in took place this morning and the winner weighed in at 2114 pounds!! A new record.
To round out the weekend We have a Loaf & Ladle (soup & bread) after church where we will be watching a presentation, by one of our members, on his recent trip to Moldova. Then right after that, the Byfield Parish Praise Band will be performing at Georgetown's American Legion Park. I've included a YouTube video of an earlier performance this Summer at Salisbury Beach, MA.
I hope you all enjoy this weekend as much as I am. OH, and as a cherry on the top of that, I will be listing a 6 unit dwelling very soon. My long-term client just informed me they are going to market the bldg. through me. WOOHOO!!!
