The number of home sales in the Third Quarter increased by 45% compared to Third Quarter of 2017. The average sold price increased 8.5%, and the average square footage price increased by 15%. It stands to reason larger homes sold for less price per square foot.

Current inventory is staying on the market longer as buyers resist continued increase in prices. Sellers, it’s important to be realistic about your pricing and understand you have to travel farther to meet the expectations of the buyers!
