Do you like to fish............or wish you knew how and want to be sure you catch something when going out?

Well, take a look at the Shrimp Boat Charters!

Shrimp Boat Charters have been in business for over 15 years, located on the boardwalk at Grand Haven.  They have 14 boats available and already are booked up fro the month of August.  As they booked this last year after people went out and was sure they wanted to do it again.

They have all the equiptment, fishing poll's, bait, GPS...etc.  Just bring your lunch, beverages and ice chest and enjoy the day.

I have been charter fishing before, and I have to tell you this is fun, because there is not much luck involved.  They have a machine that tells you where the fish are and you can almost guarantee you will catch something to take home and eat.

You need to pull the fish in, but they clean it and keep them on ice for you till get done for the day. (don't forget to tip the ship mate, as this is how they make their money). Many great fish can be caught in Lake Michigan, such as.........

  • King salmon
  • Coho Salmon
  • Brown Trout
  • Steelhead
  • Skamania
  • Lake Trout
  • Now if you want to make a week end out of this..................you can camp at Grand Haven State Park, and take your catch for the day back to the camp ground and grill it up!

This is near the "Worlds Largest Musical Fountain"  Very fun to watch in the evening, as you are going to need to take a walk..............as you will be sooooooo full from eating all that fish you caught!
