Here are the daily thoughts on floating or locking if you are asked by your clients.

As always - consult your favorite mortgage professional who will be able to offer the best advice for YOUR unique situation.

Gross Domestic Product came just under expectations but was higher than last quarter.  The indicator which figures the entire system (not just a basket of certain goods) came in at expectations but possibly showing inflation on the rise - not good news.

Technically speaking - the FNMA 5.5% 30 year bond fell below the 200 day moving average yesterday.  This morning readings on inflation as well as GDP has not helped.  Unless some really phenomenally bad news comes out, look for rates to steadily worsen.

If you haven't done so yet

     Lock your interest rate.
