Activity in the The Sun City Grand real estate market bounced back a little in August, although prices dropped a bit. The number of homes sold in Grand for the month of August was up 7% over July, and was up 16% from last year. The average sale price dropped 3% versus July, but was up 1% year over year. The average days on market was 63, which is a 19% increase over July and 32% less than August 2017. The burn rate (number of homes currently under contract/homes actively on the market) is 2.67 months, still a seller's market. Currently there 75 homes on the market in Grand and 45 under contract, which foreshadows another weak market report in September. The 12 month moving average price, $302,490 continues to edge up, 3% versus 2017.

Avg. Days on Market (Solds): 63 (Up 19% from July '18, Down 32% versus Aug. '17)
Highest sold: $525,000
Lowest sold: $210,000
