Negotiation is a vital and necessary skill for any realty professional who expects to be successful in the business.  However, many rookies and veterans as well struggle and flounder when opportunities to negotiate arises.

As a broad-brush definition, negotiating is a dynamic and interactive communication process that occurs whenever you something from another person and that person also seek something of you. There occur a communications that tries to find to arrive at a mutual ground to frame a shared understanding between the parties.

Many realty professionals are rotten negotiators or choose not to negotiate at all. Why is it that people who earning capacity and the essence of their profession require negotiating such poor negotiators?

Negotiation (my definition)you cant push a rope, stop listen and lea the parties to an agreeable position

I hear agents and others all day long trying to PUSH people into a position. Does not work  most things pushed fall apart under the pressure.
