The Majestic Organ Mountain Desert Peaks National Monument

The past few days, remnants from hurricane Sergio brought dense clouds and periods of nice, steady rain to our region. The Organ Mountain Desert Peaks National Monument, true to form, gave us quite a visual treat when covered with layers of fluffy, white clouds.

Here are some great photos I took while running around town. One look and you'll know #WhyWeLiveHere!

These were taken the morning before the main rain from Sergio arrived. Nice colors painted the sky and No filter was used as one was not needed! ⬇︎

Really beautiful scenery, Jeffrey. I really love all the different types of beauty in our country.  We don't have the type of landscape you do in New Mexico, but there is plenty of natural beauty surrounding us. It's kind of like people - we love variety.

The watercolor sky in your last two photos especially captivate me. Exquisite.

Jeff Stevens - You take great photos! If it looks this good on my computer screen, I think I'd drop to my knees if I saw them in person. Makes me want to start singing, "Oh Beautiful for spacious skies...."
